A Journey of Respect and Humanity

This was a journey taken to honor a truly optimistic Principal who has made the success of this school her life’s mission. We visited a school grounds that was once restricted to just a nameboard—a place so dilapidated that there wasn’t a proper hall or classroom to encourage a parent to send their child.

The Principal, enduring countless hardships, went from house to house, collecting broken desks and benches and even scrap wood to rebuild. Today, thanks to her dedication, this remarkable school provides an education to 76 children.

Turning Tears into Joy

This school serves children who cannot attend “prestigious” schools—some with various disabilities, and some who did not even possess birth certificates. Although poverty is a part of their daily lives, the parents here work with immense strength to turn their children’s tears of struggle into tears of joy. We went there to talk with them and witness the courage of this community.

Ultimately, these are our children. This was a journey taken with our team, carrying the weight of humanity, to ensure we bring these little ones to the heights they deserve to reach.
