A humanitarian voyage launched to protect Mother Nature, who grants us the right to live.
Date: August 17 – 19, 2024 [Three Days]
Location: Sri Dalada Maligawa premises and surrounding streets.
Participation: 20 Dedicated Members.
🎯 The Mission & Vision
Out of the 12 core projects managed by the Human Heart Volunteer Social Service Organization, the “Kasala Harana” environmental project was successfully implemented for the 4th time.
Our fundamental belief is that while we are born from a mother’s womb, it is Mother Nature who provides us the right to live by offering three essential needs free of charge:
Breath (Air)
Water (Springs)
Food
Realizing that the excessive use of polythene, plastics, and improper waste disposal is polluting our air and water—leading toward a major tragedy—we stepped forward. As people who feel the heartbeat of nature, our 20-member team spent three days educating and kindly requesting pilgrims, from children to adults, to protect and love our environment during the Perahera season.
